Nothing wrong in going Indie! There are fantastic reads out there, I've reviewed some, and loads of fellow writers that haven't already gone the self-pub route are thinking about it in earnest. The more we writers stick together and help promote each other the greater success will be gained by all. ;)
Check out Wendy Tyler Ryan's blog, website & book trailer: she's gearing up to go Indie!
I've been the traditional route and let's say I'm less than enchanted. I'm reading everything I can on self-publishing with a view to launching out at year end with one of my books. The way I figure it, I can't do any worse than what I've seen having gone with small presses.
